This is a personal series between my good friend and talented painter, Nguyen Vu and her grandmother’s in Vietnam.
We spent a good amount of time with Nguyen’s family. It gave me a close view at the traditional Vietnemese family, which to our surprise, very much parallels my Colombian family. This gave us an opportunity to reflect and analyze on a multitude of things (our family structures, the matriarch, philosophy, history) in very new ways.
